The owners of this property wanted to make Emerald Isle their primary residence. They decided to work with Guthrie Construction and they were not disappointed. The house on the site was demolished and we custom built them a home of their dreams.

As the permanent residence for this Emerald Isle family, the sound views were what sealed the deal in purchasing the Royal Oaks. The master suite was designed to encompass large spaces to prepare for the couple’s later years in life while still using each opportunity for functionality and style.
Just Because
The owners of Just Because had a simple idea and dream of their original beachfront home, that turned into much more spectacular than they could have imagined. Guthrie Construction even took the clients up on the lull machine prior to groundbreaking, to ensure they would love the ocean view from the third floor.
Granted Wish
George and his wife, Emily, collaborated on the interior and exterior design of this home. Wanting a true rental home with coastal flair, George and Emily let the scenery surrounding the house inspire the color scheme. And with nine bedrooms to style, this home was designed budget-consciously. When the home was completed, Granted Wish is truly a home that visitors love and feel at home on the North Carolina coast.
Emerald Landing
The owners of Emerald Landing picked Emerald Isle, NC as their retirement location and contacted Guthrie Construction to build their new permanent home. The couple wanted a home that was custom to their way of life with large rooms, open spaces and an abundance of windows. Coiffure ceilings and sound views bring the elegance and the serenity to Emerald Landing.
Celebration
Celebration is a five-bedroom home with an exceptional pool area. This home incorporates an open floor plan to provide an optimal entertaining space. The sound-to-sea views are breathtaking, along with the custom details ensuring the functionality in the house’s design
Bahama Breeze
Bahama Breeze is the largest house built by Guthrie Construction an Emerald Isle home builder to date. While large in size, this home gives the residents a cozy feeling by providing private areas on each level. The top floor of Bahama Breeze boasts a personal gym, while the bottom floor is a full recreational floor, including a personal movie theater.
3 Palms
3 Palms is a custom home construction in Emerald Isle built by Guthrie Construction and was made entirely out of concrete slabs for superior walls that were installed with cranes. This process is not only unique, it is energy efficient and speeds up the building process by months. With custom finishings throughout the home, it is beautiful home inside and out.
